Production Process

The main production process of hot-rolled seamless steel pipes (main inspection process):
Tube blank preparation and inspection → tube blank heating → piercing → tube rolling → steel reheating → fixed (reduced) diameter → heat treatment → finished pipe straightening → finishing → inspection  (non-destructive, physical and chemical, bench inspection) → warehousing.

The main production process of cold-rolled (drawn) seamless steel pipes:
Billet preparation → pickling and lubrication → cold rolling (drawing) → heat treatment → straightening → finishing → inspections.

Inspection Techniques: To ensure the highest quality of our seamless alloy steel tubes, we employ a diverse range of advanced inspection techniques. Non-destructive testing (NDT) methods play a crucial role. Ultrasonic testing (UT) is used to detect internal flaws such as cracks, voids, or inclusions within the tube wall by sending ultrasonic waves through the material and analyzing the reflected signals. Eddy current testing (ECT) is effective in identifying surface and near-surface defects by utilizing electromagnetic induction to detect changes in the material’s electrical conductivity. Magnetic particle inspection (MPI) is applied to ferromagnetic materials to reveal surface and slightly subsurface defects by attracting magnetic particles to the areas of discontinuity. In addition to NDT, we conduct destructive testing, including tensile tests to measure the tube’s strength and ductility, impact tests to assess its resistance to sudden impacts, and hardness tests to determine the material’s resistance to indentation. Chemical analysis is also performed to verify the alloy composition of the tubes, ensuring they meet the specified standards.
