High carbon chromium bearing steel pipe is a type of seamless steel pipe specifically designed for manufacturing rolling bearings. It is made from high-carbon chromium bearing steel , which is renowned for its excellent hardness, wear resistance, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability.

• ​Manufacturing Proces

Raw Material Preparation： High-purity alloy steel billets are selected and inspected for chemical composition and impurities.

Seamless Pipe Forming： Hot Rolling, The billet is pierced into a hollow shell (piercing) and rolled into a pipe using a mandrel mill or plug mill. Cold Drawing/Cold Rolling, Further processing via cold deformation to achieve precise dimensions and surface finish (optional for high-precision applications).

Heat Treatment: Annealing, Softens the material to improve machinability. Quenching & Tempering, Enhances hardness and wear resistance.

Finishing & Inspection: Surface cleaning (e.g., pickling, shot blasting) to remove scale. Non-destructive testing (NDT) via ultrasonic or eddy current inspection to detect internal defects. Dimensional and geometric tolerance checks (e.g., wall thickness, straightness).

Custom Specifications Available​

Delivery Status: Hot-rolled steel pipes are delivered in spheroidized annealing condition with a Brinell hardness of 179HBW~217HBW; cold-drawn/cold-rolled steel pipes are delivered in annealed condition with a Brinell hardness of 179HBW~220HBW.
